Job Summary
Are you an experienced Cash Officer with strong cash handling and supervisory skills? We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join our team and ensure efficient, secure, and accurate management of cash operations in a fast-paced banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all tellering and cash-related activities within the branch
Perform ATM cash loading, reconciliation, and ensure optimal ATM uptime
Monitor and optimize vault cash levels while ensuring compliance with cash holding limits
Oversee cash sorting, counting, and bundling activities in line with regulatory standards
Ensure proper maintenance and timely updates of all cash-related records and registers
Support effective and timely service delivery to customers at all service points
Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within agreed Turnaround Time (TAT)
Execute daily end-of-day procedures, cash balancing, and required reporting
Maintain a zero-tolerance approach to fraud, cash discrepancies, and regulatory infractions
Serve as backup to the Head of Cash Management and Branch Operations when needed
Requirements
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ banking experience, with proven expertise in Cash Management
Skills & Competencies:
Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
Excellent supervisory and organizational abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with banking software and reporting systems
Good communication and team coordination skills
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards in cash operations
