Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of the pharmacy by ensuring prescription accuracy, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in the accurate preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medications
Label and package prescriptions in accordance with regulations and pharmacy protocols
Process prescription orders using pharmacy management software
Monitor and manage inventory levels; restock shelves and place orders as needed
Maintain and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Provide customers with basic information about medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations
Support daily administrative and clerical tasks to enhance pharmacy efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Certification in Pharmacy Technician training from an accredited institution
Valid license or registration (as required by local/state regulatory authorities)
1–2 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting (preferred)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and basic computer applications
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a busy environment
